2008 South Australian Library Achiever of the Year Award

Presentation of the award will take place in front of the Treasures Wall, State Library of South Australia on Tuesday 5th August, 5:30 – 7:30pm.

Put this date in your diaries and come along to support local achievements in the Library and Information sector!

National Advisory Congress 16 July 6pm

Ever wondered how ALIA sets its direction? Ever wish you had a say in it?

ALIA is your Association and you do get to have your say at the ALIA National Advisory Congress.

Adelaide’s will be held on Wednesday 16th July at 6pm in room 1.07, Eleanor Harrald Building of the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science.

All financial personal and institutional ALIA members are invited to attend Your Voice: the ALIA National Advisory Congress. This informal meeting will provide an opportunity for members to participate in discussions with Philip Keane, ALIA Director and myself as your Local Liaison Officer on the 2008 NAC focus “Professional Development”. We will also review the Education and Workforce Planning Summit, celebrate the successes of the Association, and ask you for local feedback.
